Biography

Justin Scott Reed has been practicing law in Northern Colorado since 2007. He has spent countless hours in the court room negotiating cases, litigating complex motions issues and going to trial. He has tried cases from all levels of traffic offenses to first-degree murder to complex property crimes. His clients have been found not guilty of charges at all levels in the criminal defense system. While a capable litigator, he also tries to focus on the individual needs of his clients, to negotiate vigorously on their behalf and work hard to achieve the best possible outcome.

He believes in consistent and open communication between attorney and client. He works hard for my clients to communicate with them regularly and openly in order to build a foundation of trust so he and his clients may reach the most successful resolution to each case.

He earned his law degree in 2007 from the University of Kansas. He was a member of the Legal Aid Clinic and Trial Advocacy Group. Prior to attending the University of Kansas, he attended Kansas State University earning his Bachelors degree.

Once he graduated from law school he moved to Greeley, Colorado and began working for the Colorado State Public Defenders System.

For as long as he can remember, he has sought to learn the skills and develop the compassion necessary to help people in need.
